Ice Age National Scenic Trail
Kettle Moraine State Forest – Northern Unit
This fundraiser for the Friends of the Kettle Moraine involves folks participating in a non competitive hike along the Ice Age National Scenic Trail through the Kettle Moraine State Forest
– Northern Unit. Hikers will be shuttled to their starting point to either hike 22 miles, 15 miles, 10 miles, or 5 miles back to the Mauthe Lake Recreation Area. Along the trail there will be four refreshment/aid stations, road-crossing monitors, and first aid assistance. Each person completing a route will receive a completion medallion and certificate. We are hoping to get a maximum of 700 participants. The event will happen rain or shine.
