The Leaf Stomp 2026 was a tremendous success. The beautiful sunny day started out cool, but the temperature gradually increased as the day went on to a high of 82 degrees. We would like to thank all who participated to make this fundraising opportunity a victory for the Kettle Moraine State Forest – Northern Unit’s environmental programs, and its conservation and recreational efforts. We congratulate all of those that made the effort to hike as much as possible, to stretch their limitations of what they could achieve, and the tenacity of those who conquered the ultimate 22-mile segment. Remember, we all need a little rest after all the exercise that we do.
Also it would not have run as smoothly without all of the volunteers who donated their time and tireless energy to make this 3rd annual event happen. Without your help, it would not have been so successful and we are very appreciative of your efforts.
